We are primarily a community band but are also registered with the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association and enjoy competing when possible. We usually enter all the N.W. England branch indoor contests and also compete at some open contests during the Summer. Our aims are to provide sound instruction in piping and drumming, to encourage pipers and drummers of all levels to play to the best of their ability, and to enjoy playing together in an atmosphere of harmony.
